Today we decided finalize a plan to meet a friend about a two hour drive away. We stopped for lunch in Ellsworth, and picked up some flowers for her. We found her home with only a few miscues. Her home is nestled in the woods a short walk off the road. The after was spent relaxing, talking and she served up a nice, refreshing dish of strawberries and balsamic over vinegar over yogurt. Afterwards, she drove us into Acadia to visit Schoodic Point. A scenic drive overlooking the water, with Bar Harbor in the background. We had a lot of fun, more that could mention.
We embarked on our drive home and hope to make it back to the Inn by 8 pm for dinner and cocktails. Hopefully, our friend will join us another day for dinner at the Pentagoet. We will have to wait and see.
